Izidore Musallam is a Canadian/Palestinian film director, producer and screenwriter who most recently produced the Sci Fi Pictures original film: Savage Planet. He was born in Haifa and graduated with a BFA in film production from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where he now lives and works.[1]
He directed a number of movies including "Foreign Nights" (1989), "Nothing To Lose" (1994), "Heaven Before I Die" (1997), "Adam & Eve" (2002) aka "Forbidden Fruit" and "Hadutha Saghira" (2009).
Most notably he directed in 2006 Keif al-Hal?, the first ever Saudi Arabian feature film produced by Rotana.
Izidore’s films won awards in major film festivals in the USA, Canada and the Middle East. In Europe his films participated in Cannes, Karlovy Vary, Paris, Brussels, Stockholm & Geneva. As a writer, Izidore sold numerous original screenplays to producers in Canada and the Middle East.
Packaging the following feature films "Boulevard Café " , "Half A Dead Monkey" and "Ali Baba & The Forty Thieves".
In Sept. 2012 Izidore wrote, produced and directed “American Royalty Promo” for Balmoral Holdings of Ohio, USA.
In the Middle East in 2005/06 Izidore directed the first Saudi Feature film 'Keif Alhal' which went on to become a major financial hit for Rotana Studios. In 2008 Izidore wrote and directed "My Simple Story" for Aljazeera Children Channel which went on to win best film, best director, best actor and best actress at the Cairo Arab Media Festival.
